This shawl is a tribute to the 250th anniversary of the birth of the Scottish poet, Robert Burns. The idea for the shawl comes from one of his poems, "A Red, Red Rose."
The shawl is worked from the top down using one basic stitch pattern that is modified as the shawl progresses. Adding beads to the motifs is optional. Beads are placed on individual stitches with a crochet hook. Skill level: Advanced Intermediate. Finished measurements: 50 x 98" |
