This lovely shawl features a beautiful Japanese lace knitting motif which creates a subtle play of light across the fabric. The stocking stitch shawl begins with four cast on stitches at the top middle and then increases at sides and centre to create the triangular shape. The fan-like edging continues from the diamond lace motifs, and is finished with a crochet chain cast off. Lace shaping is on one side only, but there are both knit and purl stitches on the other side.
NOTE: Fiddlesticks Knitting patterns are charted.
Recommended for Advanced Intermediate lace knitters.
